Marjorie is a former three-time Canadian Champion in singles and doubles. Named to the Canadian Tennis Hall of Fame in 1998, Blackwood played the WTA tour for five years, reaching a top 50 ranking in 1981/82. During that time she posted wins over Virginia Wade, Pam Shriver and Helena Sukova, and holds 13 professional doubles titles from the tour. Marjorie and her husband Peter Schelling have been Directors of Tennis at the Whistler Racquet Club for nine years, and are proud to have their Whistler Adult Tennis Camps rated in the Top 10 camps in the world by tennisresortsonline.com. Blackwood has coached players of all levels for 20 years.
